What does "private son from 1930 to 1980 "mean?

It means that the Profile for the son of Francis refers to a living person.  Wikitree works to keep the Profiles of living persons private unless that person has agreed to make it public.

However, in this case, the person is no longer living. The "1930's to 1980's" means that he was born in the 1930s and passed away in the 1980s. Private profiles do not show the actual year but the decade to help protect the identity of living people.
