Parentage of Colonial Gov. Tryon

William Tryon, the Colonial Governor of North Carolina and New York leading up to the early period of the American Revolution, has a nice wikipedia article.  

His parents are named - Charles and Lady Mary Shirley.

I figure that someone specialized in English genealogy would be able to find some trace of his parents fairly quickly and would be able to create records for them.
