unconnected People

Greetings! I have 2 unconnected people in my list that are adoptive parents of my great grandmother.  I do have her biological parents connected to her profile. Is there a way to link the adoptive parents so that they are no longer unconnected?

Thanks ahead of time!

At the moment, wikitree only allows one set of parents to be connected, so unless you opt to trace the genealogy of her adopted parents, and they get connected that way, they will just have to stay unconnected.

You can link them to you're grandmother's profile, but it won't connect them to the "big tree"

You can go to their profile under the edit tab, and then on the right hand side you should see the parents and spouses of the individual. There is an option to select the parents as non-biological. This should link the parents to that profile.

You can also place a note in their biography explaining the situation.

Hope this is what you are looking for.

A person can only be linked to one set of parents. If you link to nonbiological parents, that will have the effect of detaching from the biological parents.
