Infant death project proposal

Would someone like to take on making a project for profiles who died as Infants?

There are quite a few of them out there, and many just go unnoticed with names like Unknown Daughter or Infant Son. These profiles sometimes cause confusion with a single date or no dates. I think it would be helpful if there were a stylized profile for them, and a tag to show they died as an infant. They could also be protected so that others won't try to change them into someone else without proof.

I don't have the time to manage a project, but I would be happy to join it once it is create, and tag any that I find.

I have a pediatric Death here. Do we put in the infant project or is there a pediatric death project. She died at 4 so not really a infant.

A  tag like that would be great. I have quite a few who have siblings named over them.

We have an umbrella category [[Category:Infant_Mortality]] with some sub Canadian locations already for ages 5 and under.

I think we should also encourage people to make clear in the biographies that these people died as babies and are not duplicates.

I was going to make a template for the infants that died in my family which would add them to a category there are so many of them that died so young  it would be lovely to remember them

I found newspaper Artical on grandfathers son. We not sure if it the Benjamin Bright or another infant. With notice put in paper you would figure out it may have death records no death record found as far as I know. Been checking on kids deaths in family because own health. So curious!!!!

While it's not a category,    {{Died Young}} has been added to many infants' profiles that you'd be interested in.

As this was already bumped — there is also the "Remember the Children" project.

I found another infant Death here. There some confusion on him and another child that passed. Found obit and find a grave but no death record for him. My grandfather had few kids who passed away. I tried to talk to older generation and no one seems to know.

The Died Young sticker was created for situations like this. It's intended for profiles of people who died in infancy or childhood.

See Template:Died Young for more information. Or simply add the sticker to a profile by entering {{Died Young}} below the == Biography == heading.
