I am looking for the father of Jesse Andrew Strickland b. 1863. Married to Martha Jane (Mollie) Reeder b. 1866

Jesse Andrew Strickland born October 14, 1863 Reeders Mill, Barbour County, Alabama. Death April 15, 1941 Ozark, Dale County, Alabama.

Married Martha Jane Reeder born March 11, 1866. Died Feb 9, 1948 Dale, County, Alabama.

Parents of Lennie Macon Strickland born Nov 11, 1887 Blue Springs, Barbour County, Alabama. Died Sept 15, 1968 DeFuniak Springs, Walton County, Florida.

Lennie was married to Martha Ann Victoria Tharp born Dec 14, 1886 Ozark, Dale County, Alabama. Died Mar 23, 1973 Ozark, Dale County, Alabama.

Lennie & Martha are parents of Hubert Lee Strickland, Sr. born June 18, 1914 Ozark, Dale County, Alabama. Died Apr 1977 Dothan, Houston, Alabama.

Hubert was married to Mary Clarice Nichols.

 

Hubert and Mary are my grandparents.

Are there two Jesse's? The middle names don't match and the death dates are different.

It seems likely that the first Jessie A. Strickland is correct and that the Jessie N. Strickland is wrong. I probably should not have posted the 2nd one.
