why are orphan profiles showing in my watchlist?

Question

There are a whole mess of orphan profiles created by Robert Blais showing up in my watchlist.  Probably I have added data to most of them, either dates or sources, or connected them together, but that doesn't mean I have any further interest in them.  And since I never adopted them, I don't understand why they are showing there.  I certainly don't want them, I have exactly 3 Blais profiles in my own ancestry, way back.

no, I never had these in my watchlist, I have put data into them but never adopted them.  There's a whole mess of these showing in my list, I did a mini-project a while back to get them somewhat sorted out.  Most of them were missing dates of any sort, as well as source.

Have you looked at the Privacy tab of these profiles? Are you listed as on the Trusted List?

I've looked at several of these profiles. You are on the trusted list. I would suggest that someone who put you on a trusted list for one profile, accidentally added you to a whole line of profiles.

Wow. You know I really dislike that feature. I asked a cousin to put me on the trusted list for one ancestor. She added me to her entire  watchlist increasing my watchlist by hundreds. And there was no easy way for me to undo what she did.

Thank you, not sure if that is how I got on all these profiles, but bulk change on trusted list worked to get rid of them.  Now I can simply pick up the ones I'm really interested in.
