Just came across a Thomas Arnold in Yeatesbury, county Wiltse,  who died around 1610/1.  His will mentions many Arnolds,  a James Pope, brother Isaac Arnold and sister Elizabeth Pope.

I'm really not sure I just know of my great Grandfather James Russell Arnold. No info about his parents although I believe the father was English and mother possibly Mulatto. He was born in Arkansas about 1890.

I wish I knew the answer. I have not found a birth cert for George Arnold, born circa 1822, possibly Lancashire as stated on the death cert . However, the informant was the undertaker!
