Up dating family file?

I have been updating my family on my computer and would now like to up load the gedcom for it, obviously this may overlap with the current one on this site which I have, can anyone tell me is it better to delete the current one and upload the full file, or is there a facility to just upload certain family members ??

There is no provision on WikiTree to delete old profiles just so that you can add a newer version form a GEDCOM and the process to split your GEDCOM and skip files that would be duplicates is very time consuming. Even if you do opt to do it that way you would still have to edit your uploads to remove a lot of extra stuff that is included as well as reformat the sources and add the other information to the one's you could not upload. This would probably result in more time on your part than if you just added and edited the information yourself for both the existing and old profiles.

Hi Gordon, I agree with Dale's suggestion. It may sound like a load of extra work, but it does give you a chance to review the data as you input it and tweak anything that needs adjusting or a fine tune. Sometimes taking a step back from the data make a few things clearer too.
Yes I agree, but cannot believe how quick I got responses to my question.

Thank you also.Gordon
