Not a question, Just a note on ages on the 1841 UK census.

Not a question, Just a note on ages on the 1841 UK census, because most genealogists will be aware the ages are in 5 year blocks (after the age of 15).

But this link shows one of the instruction pages for the 1841 census, that shows a printing error, showing a census age 50 can cover 45 to 55 and age 60 covers 55 to 65.

They were not all like this, I’ve seen some that are the correct 5 year blocks.

But I wonder for the people you can’t find an ancestor if this could be the answer.

Hope it was Okay to post this here, or is there another area of the wikitree site it should have gone to?
