I am the bookmark queen of the world. I bookmark everything AND I spend time making sure my bookmarks are organized. I also tell everyone who is having problems finding their way around our great big ole shared Tree to bookmark (in their browser) pages they like.
But. What if you are a seasoned WikiTreer and you know your way around. You have your Bookmarks all set-up for your important links? But still you are going to long way round to find something you ran across the other day?
For me, It's DNA. I find I am often giving out my DNA, Most Distant Ancestor (MDA) links, to my offsite DNA matches. Became a pain in the bum.
So, I created a list of all my DNA surnames, posted them to my profile page, and added links to my MDA in the Surname list.
Now when someone outside of WikiTree wants to know my MDA I send them to my Profile here on WikiTree and ask them to Click on the Surname they might be interested in.
BOY does that ever save me time and energy! this can be done with anything you are working on, projects, Specific G2G questions (like Mentors-Tips), people you know that are cousins, etc.
