I am trying to find the wife of Alexander Harkness Blythe B: 1834 D: 28 February 1890

Question

AHB is my great great grandfather.  I now have a great deal of information about him.  He was a clerk of works in the Four Courts, Dublin, Ireland.  He lived at Upper Dorset Street, Dublin for many years.  He is buried in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Dublin.  His wife is not buried with him and I cannot find a record of her.  Would appreciate any help.

I saw your question on Wikitree and the answer given of Harriet.  I had seen that marriage but because it was not in Dublin I thought I would leave it and keep looking.  Sorry!

Anyway, I have sent you a private email and attached you will find the transcript of Harriet’s entry into the Workhouse in Dublin.  There is also attached the scan of the original document.  On the record it shows her as widow and her previous address being a lodging house on Dorset.  Sound familiar?  You will also see that on the far right it shows that she died in 1901.
