John Stinnett was a common name in the 19th Century.

What is the chance that he was born in Virginia, Anderson, South Carolina or Tennessee instead of California?  Most of the children seem to be born in Tennessee and Virginia.

It is very likely he may have been born in Virginia. Has not been confirmed that John Stinnett born in California is the same as either of these Stinnetts.
