Did we get any usable information from this question: (I doubt that the LNAB kin it's current form goes back that far; I suspect it was spelled French [might even have had Portugese Sephardic roots]) ....

Oh Ronel, please add the following tags to your question: LNAB Dutch_Roots_Project van_der_Merwe
Thanks Philip
Thank you Philip
Somehow the DRP missed your question Ronel. Please next time contact one of us directly if we do not react here, as we love to help out.

Van de Merwe is a commen name in the Netherlands. Might refer to the Merwede a part (at the lower reaches, so in the Netherlands from Gelderland to the sea) of the river Maas and long ago also of the Waal. I will have a look Ronel. Give me a little time. :) I m sure you re patient as it took us to get your question about 4 months. I am really sorry!

Mabey you already found the answer. Whatever I will check the profile and the books.

Happy weekend all! :)

I am sorry Ronel, Churchbooks at Oud-Beyerland go back to only 1627. :/
Ah Thanks for helping  and caring Astrid.

I appreciate the effort and your kindness.

Will make a note on the profile

Have a wonderful weekend
Searched more but without succes......... I am sorry Ronel........

When looking for Dutch Roots the tag dutch_roots should be used, not dutch_roots_project.
The members of the Dutch Roots project have dutch_roots tagged, so that way your questions are answered most speedy.

Thanks again Astrid
Thank you Jan

Will make a mental note of this
