Who was the wife of Seth Covell b. 1772?

Seth Covell b. 1772 NY  d. 15 Jul 1835 Wyoming Co NY supposedly married twice once to Ann Marie Erving and the other wife is Lydia Sisson. Both wives seem to have the same dates.  Both were born about 1778, both died 27 Apr 1850 in Wyoming Co NY.  The Boston Transcripts says his wife was Anne Marie Erving.  Find a Grave lists his wife as Lydia Sisson.  He supposedly married them both in 1789. Are these wives one and the same, or has someone mixed them up?  They both appear to have different children for the most part.

There is also Seth Simon Covell, son of Nathaniel Covell and Judith Nickerson.  I don't have a birth for Seth, but he married 22 Nov 1733 at Harwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts to Sarah Hurd, daughter of John and Hanna (Sparrow) Hurd. I have seven children for Seth and Sarah (Hurd) Covell, the youngest of whom is Simeon John Covell (UEL) who died in Prescott, Ontario, Canada 12 Apr 1798 at the age of 40.

The familysearch.org information that I looked at only had Ann Marie Erving as his wife. Of course, I did see Lydia Sisson Covell at Find A Grave. I wonder if there was a name change for some reason.
