I have books on the Braswell, Woodard and Capps families originating in Johnston County, NC and the Doby and Lynch families originating in Surry and Stokes County, NC.  I'll be happy to lookup anything for anyone.

I haven't found any Braswells or Woodards yet but my family originates from around that part of the country. I'll keep you in mind. Thanks for volunteering.

Thanks, Allan!

The ancestors of my GGGgrandfather, Oren (Aren Iron Aron Orren) Lynch-1995 are a mystery. His wife may have been born in Virginia. If you can offer any help I would certainly appreciate it.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT the Orran Lynch associated with Franklin Tennessee and a Civil War veteran, who also married a Sarah. Looking at the children is the best indication.

I looked through my Lynch book and didn't see Oren Lynch.  Sorry.

What kind of book do you have on the Lynch family? I believe my Lynch family is through North Carolina but a lot of the information I have is from Ancestry.com links and I've learned the hard way they aren't very accurate. Everyone is just copying from someone else and not getting any documentation. My mother's biological father was also her first cousin 1x removed so my tree merges a couple of generations back. I'm looking for any documentation for descendants/ancestors:

James Lynch 1811-1879, spouse Nancy Noblitt
Clayton Lynch 1785-1837, spouses Polly Durnen & Anna Crim
John Lynch 1750-1813, looking for spouse's name

They came from North Carolina but I don't know for sure from what county.

Thank you.

Some of the books I have are published books available for purchase, but the Lynch book is just something one of my cousins put together.  The oldest person in the book is Elijah Lynch, born in Ireland or Virginia in 1760, died 1893 in Rockingham County, NC.  If you follow my mother's family, you'll be able to see some of the information.  If you would like for me to look for something specific, just let me know.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bracewell-107 To begin with, this Richard Braswell/Bracewell has multiple children with the same names. If you could figure out the right ones it would be wonderful!

Thank you for any help with this. Then there are other profiles to work on, but for now - one at a time!

Thanks again!
