Woohoo!

That is awesome news, Maggie!  Congrats and thanks for sharing!
Excellent - delighted for you.
Yay! Tell us how it happened.
Congratulations! Please tell us how WikiTree helped.

I knew that her parents were from Kerry but actual birthplace unknown. I did a very deep, comprehensive investigation collecting records of her siblings, her parents and her mother's family in Pennsylvania. I lucked out by searching in Google Book with a publication from the USA railroad companies. They published obits of Railroad men in early 1900's which lead me to her first cousin.

I knew her birth month and with a last name of Jones, I knew it would be difficult. Using her parents' full names, her siblings' names and recognizing a couple of the baptismal godparents,

I then found not only baptismal record but also her siblings:

Obviously to be confirmed with follow-up from the actual records, and her parent's marriage.
I forgot to mention WikiTree's "COUSIN BAIT" lead me to the Google Book entry.
Awesome!
The railroad Book with the obits- where can I find this? I have a great great Grandfather who someone thought worked with the railroad but I have not seen any records to back that up, I can't even find his obit, He was John Jones from Iowa, USA

The Railroads Books are on Google Books. The particular one that I found my information was the one for the

Buffalo, Rochester, and Pittsburgh Railway Company

Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railway Company, 1917.

thank you
How wonderful that must feel! Congratulations!
