I am praying that someone can help me learn the parents of one of my brick wall ancestors, Aramantha S. "Ann" Collins.  She was reportedly born in North Carolina 19 Sep 1833.  She later lived in Henderson County, TN.  She died in 1878 when she was 45 years old. That was the year that yellow fever was common in Tennessee.  I have to wonder if that is what killed her. Her exact date of death was 31 Jan 1878.  She married John Henderson Hinton Smith 29 Oct 1849 in Marshall County , MS. Her findagrave link is: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=82165344  Thank  you in advance for your help.

I found Ann Smith's name on a Federal Census Death Index.  She died of yellow fever just as I had suspected.  I still have had no success in finding the names of her parents or her siblings.   James Smith died two weeks later.  They are buried in Old Mifflin Cemtery in Chester County, TN.  I researched James Smith's line hoping that he might be the father of Aramantha's husband, John Henderson Hinton Smith, but this proved not to be true.

Aramantha had a sister named Tranquility or Tranquilla. Tranquilla married James Campbell the same day that Aramantha married John Henderson Hinton Smith, 29 Oct 1849 in Marshall County, Mississippi.
