She was the daughter of John Alexander Orme and Catherine Annie Blythe and the sister of William Alexander and Cyril James Orme.  She emigrated to the US and lived in Atlanta Georgia for a time.  I have lost any trace of her after that.  She was my grand-aunt.

Eileen's birth is registered in Essex,1886 (West Ham 4a/86 q March 1886).

An entry for a Eileen Orme, born Forest Gate, Essex (West Ham district) is noted in the 1911 census, although her age is recorded as 21, working  in an institution in Walton on the Hill (Liverpool). The Institution is perhaps named, but the entry notes Eileen to be single, an official to the household head, who describes himself as the Master of the Workhouse, --  Guardian's West Derby -- an employed as a sick nurse (one of over sixty sick nurses)

Thanks for your help Ron.  A have noticed many anomalies in people's ages on census records.  It  think this is indeed my great aunt, even with the difference in ages.  Much appreciated.

Hi Frank, thank you so much for this.  Very interesting to have the date of her emigration.  Regarding her siblings, there is an error on the transcription.  She had two brothers, Cyril and William.  The other "siblings" were actually members of the Harris family.  You can clearly see this on the actual census form.  Much obliged for your help.  Hopefully, we can try and trace her into the 1940's and 1950's in the US.
