Full name William Brown, WikiTree ID 9585.  William removed to LaSalle County, IL in 1834 with his son William from KY. Served in the VA Militia during the Rev War source, Honor Roll IL Veteran's Commission, reel #83.  DAR or SAR does not have his 1841 burial site in Evans Twp, Marshall County, IL listed.  Our FAG #20125634. FTDNA Haplogroup #I2B1.  We have researched all pension application and bounty land grant files on fold 3 but cannot clearly identify our William as we do not know where he lived in VA in the 1700's or who his wife was. "The Brown's of Council Bluffs IA" on ancestry belongs to us as do most associated stories and board posts about Wm and his two sons Wm & Robert.  Any help or suggestions which do not include what we already have on our wikitree site or  on ancestry abt our Wm Brown would be greatly appreciated.  William Brown, tangleoak@live.com

Try using age regression like go back 20 years and then put the fathers last name & city. It works, but, FYI sometimes it's a marrage change like we have a SOLOMON BROWN PULLIAM who later dropped the Solomon but that goes back to 1600 in Hanover VA, and that's verified by the census. Supposedly no familys survived. Were here ;) Just found out were Jewish too but oh well ;)
