What country and city was it where Wm John Rivers married Margaret Thomas in 1824?

If Jane Rivers married Charles Foot in 1857, in what country and city would it have likely been?

Thank you.
Hi Frank

Im an 3rd Australian descendant the Foot and rivers family are from UK. Isabella Jane and Charles were married Stephney Middlesex and Wm and Margaret St george in the East. I have found most of the info from the marriage of Wm and Margaret Rivers but having trouble finding William John Rivers father ect. ( family rumours say we from sirs and ladys and William John who married Margaret was their Grandson) the only sirs and lady at this time that i can find were the Pitt-Rivers of Stratfield Saye which was sold to Wellington in1817. I hope you can make sence of this would be greatful if you ccould help Joy

You said that William and Margaret (Thomas) Rivers married at St. George in the East. I assume that it's the St. George in the East, London.

Hi

Im a GGrandaughter Of William John Rivers born 23/07/1829 father William (Mariner) Mother Margaret (Thomas) W j Rivers was  Christened at St Anne Limehouse London.

I would like to know more about his father theres family stories he was related to Sirs & Ladies but ran of with a servant so was disinherited as my mother would say so we became the poor side of the family. The only Sirs & Ladies of his time are the Pitt-Rivers this seems feesable but i just cant connect him to the family. As the Pitt-Rivers owed Strathfield Saye castle the William Rivers born at that area in 1802 seems a possibility Hope you can help Joy

I guess i would like someone if they could find out who the parents of Strathfieild Saye W j Rivers were
