How do you get Acadian Project Badge

Last week I posted a comment to join the Acadian Project. I still have not been awarded the badge. Are we supposed to send a private message instead?

After posting on message on one or two of the above mentioned leaders, then it is just a waiting game?  Can you proceed to use templates and create profiles within the project without their approval?
