Proof that Agnes Payne married both William Mitchell and John Flood?

There is plenty of proof that this Agnes Payne married William Mitchell, and I can see where John Flood married a Agnes Payne but as William Mitchell died in 1796, I don't see where they were the same woman. Josias Payne's will of 1784, the dusk of Agnes' fertile years, says "Item 6: …I give to my daughter Agnes Michel the Negroes she received of me after her marriage "

Is this a conflation?

I think there are two women here that are confused.  (1) Agnes Michel Payne, the daughter of Josiah Payne, the one he mentions in his will.  She was born in 1739 per all accounts on the internet, and therefore would have been only 10 years old when William Mitchell married Agnes Payne.

Per the SAR application I found, (2) Agnes Payne that married William Mitchell is the daughter of John Payne and Ann Henning.  She was born in 1730-1732.

There might be 3 then. Her death date of 1766 can't be right either due to the mention in the will. I'm adding reliable sources to Agnes now to sort it out because aside from John Flood, these are Agnes' known connections. Here's a SAR application with this lineage.

Oh I see, Josias' son Robert, who would be this Agnes brother, had a daughter named Agnes Michel Payne (footnotes of 144).

Yahoo!
Please help me out as I have been trying to figure out if Agnes Payne Flood is in fact the daughter of Josias Payne. I see many references to Agnes Payne Mitchell being the daughter of Josias, including the SAR application linked above. Are you saying Agnes Michel Payne (b. 1739) was the daughter of Josias and married John Flood in 1762? In one link above I see Agnes Michel Payne (b. 1778 per link above) married Marmaduke Williams but that seems to be a later generation. Is Agnes Payne Flood someone not related to Josiah Payne? Or are there two Agnes Michel Paynes and an Agnes Payne Mitchell? Help! I see you got to "Yahoo" but you left me at "Huh?" Thanks in advance for any help with the lineage of my ancestor, Agnes Payne Flood.
This profiles are still conflated, dates do not match biographies, etc.   More sources are clearly needed.
Thank you Robin. Let me see if I do understand what was laid out above. If Agnes Payne, daughter of Josias, was born in 1739, she is not likely the one who married William Mitchell if they were married in 1749. If Agnes Payne Mitchell died in 1766, she is not the one referenced in the 1784 will. The Agnes Michel Payne born in 1778 would not be the daughter of Josias Payne unless he sired her at the age of 73 which of course is possible but not likely since his wife Anna Fleming would have been 69 at that time, so probably the next generation of Paynes. According to those negatives, there are not at hand facts or numbers that would rule out Agnes Payne Flood as the granddaughter mentioned in the will of George Payne and in the will of Josias as Agnes Michel. But those negatives don't prove the positive. Am I getting this right?
