I haven't dated the photo but I do believe that it was taken in late 1946 and that the baby is probably my Uncle Tommy Jindra jr., aged around 7 months. Irene (Miller) (Jindra) (Glenn) and her first husband Tom Jindra are behind Grandma Edna.

Grandma Edna was deaf and had attended St. Mary's school for the deaf in Niagara Falls, NY. Her Mother, Sara Jane (Turner) Jennings died in 1906 of "child-bed fever" having her second child Charles Edwin Jennings. Unfortunately, no one know what happened to him.

I am sure there is, we just don't know it! Looks like Aunt Irene and Uncle Tom were doing that without her realizing it! She thought her picture was being taken with her grandson and being deaf she didn't know they were teasing her until later!

I am from the Jennings line here in Rochester, NY. I wonder if there is a connection with our lines and we could be related.
