Researched both on Ancestry.com, Geni.com, Google and each married both a Mary Evans AND a Jane Armistead from Elizabeth City, VA. Both reference New Hanover, NC as well.

Could you add their profile numbers, please?
I'm such an amateur. :) What is a profile number? Happy to do so, just need more info...
When you are on their profile, you will see the last name, a dash and a number.
It is also in the browser address.
That is the profile number.
In all my research, Bloodsworth, Bloodworth, Bludsworth, Bludworth are all the same. We spell it Bloodsworth and my daddys sister spells it Bludsworth.

In my humble opinion they are most likely to be the same if they both married persons of the same name and both reference the same areas. Spelling changes in name because of typos and other reasons are not uncommon and indeed this is the way that surnames change over time.

I haven't encountered the spelling Bloodworth for Timothy. I have found "Bludworth" and "Bludder" in his ancestors.
