It would help if you included any information as to location - Country - Province/Region/State - city, town of b, m, d for your Roberts family.  Doyou have a spouse for William - as marriage records often list parents/birthplace as well?

William Roberts' wife was Martha Ruth Turner.  They were married in 1902 in the residence of Obadiah Turner at Kitty Swamp, Mt. Drummond, via Bundarra, N.S.W.

Have you checked Bdm.nsw.gov.au for the death registration of William?  It should give you the first names of his parents.  If he died in 1961 you would need to be a family member to get the certificate.  Earlier registrations however are all online.

i found this one, not sure if it is him, it is the closest to Bundarra.  There were others
