One contact suspects Oliver Garner's father may be John Garner buried in Darlington SC, but no proof.  Oliver's dates are 1780-~1858 in Louisiana.

I believe this is the Oliver Garner who lived in Amite Co MS, and was related to Lea's, is it not?  My Oliver is not the same man, but a lady from the family to which you are referring says she believes they are related.  (We just can't find the connection.) Thanks.
I tend to think so...but can't find any confirmation.
