Who is Hazel S Hall (Tommie)?

The draft of the Biograhy of Sir Frank Whiitle, the inventor of the modern Jet Engine, recognises his first marriage was dissolved in 1976, following which he married the American, Hazel S Hall (Tommie). He emigrated to the USA where he spent the rest of his life. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Whittle).

The Wikipedia biography suggests they married in the UK; before there emigration, although I have been unable to trace any marriage record in England & Wales. Other than the name, the Biography is silent on Hazel.

Can any one offer a BIOS on Hazel.

Thank you Jamie. This gives me the basis to compile a sourced profile for her; much appreciated.
