I am trying to find what happened to my great grandmother Ruth Isabelle Abernathy. All I know is she was born around 1915-1915 in Indiana. She was married to my great grandfather Lawrence McClain and had a son Edward McClain with him. After that she completely dissappears. If some one can please help me find anything on her besides her marriage records to my grandfather that will be helpful. I am trying to find out why she disappeared and what happened to her after her divorce to my great grandfather and why she would leave her son behind.
