Trouble adding to Great Uncles...Spouses ans Children

Question

1.I'm having trouble adding spouses and children to my great Uncles.

2. I don't understand the different color locks and who put the different locks on there?

1. . Would like to have other family members be able to add to our tree, but not make changes to my entries. Keith Wayne Mitthun

Hello Keith, the different color locks are privacy settings and are put there by the profile manager. You can learn more about the different privacy settings at this link: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Privacy

I'm not sure why you are having problems entering information, you didn't reference any of the profiles for us to look at. Are you the profile manager for them? If not and if they are not open (white lock) you will need to be on the trusted listed to edit them.
