Birth:  1803 Estill County Kentucky, USA Death:  Aug. 1, 1874 Laclede County Missouri, USA Elias is shown on the 1810 Estill County, KY census as a male age under 10. On the 1820 Estill County, KY census he is shown as a male age 10-16. Elias married Sarah Dennis July 17, 1829 in Cooper County, MO. Sarah Dennis is the daughter of William Dennis. Elias married for the second time to Elizabeth Dennis 7-16-1868 in LaClede County, MO. Elizabeth's name was Doty, daughter of Harvy Doty. She married 1st Housewright, 2nd Charles Dennis and 3rd Elias Barker. She is the mother of Isam, Harvey and Mary Dennis. Elias fell from a horse 1-8-1874 and died in LaClede County, MO. A coroner's inquest found his death accidental. Elias is buried in a cemetery on the Leonard O'Dell farm of Hwy C in LaClede County, MO.
