If you are researching any of these lines, could you check the genealogy of David Bowie to see if your lines connect to his?  Several WikiTree researchers have been working to connect this music icon to the family tree, and your research could be the key!

05-05-1799 - baptism of Sarah Beevers's sister Hannah - shows the grandparents.  The later ones don't, but they do mention that James was a coal miner.

Same source, Oct 1807, George Blackburn

Oct 1799, Matthew, George's brother, shows grandparents John & Martha

John and Martha had a daughter Jane, April 1799, gives next generation back.

PS That entry could be wrong - earlier baptisms by John & Martha show Martha's mother as Catherine not Dorothy.  An unsourced tree on ancestry says Catherine's maiden name was Revel.

Actually I was hoping to connect to this guy in the parish next door, but I think I'm out of luck
