Additions to Trusted Lists

Question

When adding a new Wikitree Family Member to the trusted lists of their family members, that person is being automatically added to MY TRUSTED LIST. This has been happening over the past 2 or 3 months (about five or six times) and is not being done by me or at my or anyone else's request. Can someone please explain?

Hi Peter,

You mean you're inviting someone new to join WikiTree? If so, yes, they are added to your Trusted List by default. You can remove them from your Trusted List page.

Or are you talking about current members who you're adding to other profile's Trusted Lists? This is with the bulk Trusted List changes tool or via the form that appears after you approve a single TL request?

Thanks Chris, They are new members I have invited following their contact regarding their family members (whose profiles I am managing but who are not necessarily related to me). I have been removing them (as suggested) but not sure that this should be a default addition.
