Is John Reichert (1776?-1855) buried in Ohio?

John Reichert, son of G. Bernard and Hannah Kraftin Reichert, was born in Franklin County PA, and we have contradictory family histories on his life.  Most seem to say he moved to Ohio with his second wife, Anna Smith, and settled in Berlin Ohio area.

I haven't been able to confirm this fact, because other family histories say he is buried in PA, but we can't find his grave.

Any help is appreciated.

Update:  I was able to verify that this John Reichard is buried in Ohio.  In 1854, at the age of 79, he sold the family farm in Franklin County, PA.  After that, he travelled to Ohio to where many of his children had moved, and died there.  He is buried in the Berlin Dutch Cemetery, Berlin Township, Mahoning, Ohio.

Hi Ryan,

I was looking at John's profile and it looks like you have him buried in Ohio. Does that mean you were finally able to resolve the contradictions?

Hi Eowyn,

Thank you for your question.  I had forgotten I had asked this question.  I was able to verify that John Reichard was buried in Ohio.  I was in Ohio for other reasons, and was able to visit his grave.
Hey, that's awesome! I think it's always special when you can visit the final resting place of an ancestor.
