Question

My grandmother (mother through adoption) Margaret Ann (Melton) Sharpe was the Daughter of Mary or Margaret (Denton) Tate.  Mary or Margaret Denton was born about 1861 near or around Rutherfordton, Rutherford County North Carolina to an Adam Owens and a Mary Jane Owens. Who I am trying to find information on is the Tate/Tait male that was with Mary Denton Tate. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Evans Tate was his name he died shortly after Margaret in the early 80's
