Who are the parents of Joseph Thompson of Washington Co PA?

Looking for the parents of Joseph Thompson b. 25 Dec 1808  Allegany Co Pennsylvania.  He died possibly Feb 1863.  Is this date correct? He may have done something in the Civil War.  He lived in Washington Co PA in 1850.  He married twice, first to Eliza Jane Giffin 1804 PA- 1849 PA.  By 1850, he was married to Elizabeth H. b. Jan 1825 PA.  What was her maiden name?  He had 6 children with his first wife. I have been able to trace all these children.  With his second wife he had a daughter, Sadie b. Feb 1855 PA, who married John W. Gaston. They lived in Washington Co PA in 1880 and 1900.

Don't know if you got your answer, there is a Joseph Thompsondied 3 Feb1863, he is buried with his wife, Elizabeth Hastings (1825-1916) along with a son, Scott V. (1858-1893) at the Pigon Creek Presbyterian Cemetery at Washington, PA. There is a  picture of the gravestone on Find  A Grave
