OK to add Category WWII US Navy?

I just added a category of US Navy WWI veterans to a relative. He's only the second person in this category. The other person is US president LBJ. I hope this isn't reserved for VIPs?

Thanks for the answer and invite.I remember reading the huge headline "War Ends" in the Detroit Times and I asked "We were at war?". My parents named a couple relatives I didn't know who were in the war. I loved playing "Over There" on my grandma's victrola but didn't know what the song was about.

Great memories Richard I hope your relatives survived the War.

We have two templates for the WWII Profiles you can add  either one depending on which one you would prefer, one is a very basic template  http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:World_War_II

The other Template you can add Enlisted,Regiment/Unit and Discharge http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:WW_II. Let me know if you want the Project badge added to your profile Terry

Yes Terry, I think I would like to join.

I'll go through my obits looking for soldiers.

I'm thinking the latter template with regiment and dates, even if blank, might encourage a non wikitree relative to contact us to supply missing data.
Hello Richard I added the Military and War project badge to your  page and thank you for joining the project.

Yes I use the second template on my profiles and prefer it over the simpler template.Plus you are right someone might get in touch if they have info you haven't added. Terry
