Pre-1500 Managers Blocked

I am the manager of a handful of pre-1500 profiles (in my own direct paternal Mulford/Molford line) which I adopted and began researching before the new restriction was afoot, and now I am blocked from doing any of my own work on them, which makes no sense to me since I am the manager. None of these profiles are in the royalty arena. I have about 0 interest in royalty and am quite happy to let others take over that side of things, if they desire, but I shouldn't be blocked from my managed profiles especially when they are not any part of that old mess (heaven help anyone trying to clean it up). Also, there are a few other profiles in the same line (a couple of which are misnamed Muleford) managed by someone else who is willing to let me take over as manager, but neither of us can get in to arrange this because of the new restriction. Since it seems to me the only way I can get pre-1500 (if that is even possible) is for me get involved in one of the royalty projects which don't much interest me, what can I do to fix things?

Martyn, it would be worthwhile getting the pre-1500 badge if you see yourself working on these kinds of profiles regularly.  It is not an onerous process and it should be easy for you to get the badge if you have familiarity with the website and the importance of good sources and no duplicates (sounds like you do!).  The team who review the requests do so very regularly.
Thank you, Leigh !

Martyn, I don't believe you need to be part of a specific pre-1500 related project to get pre-1500 certified. You can join any project and some projects have zero requirements. You probably already qualify as far as I can see except for being a member of a project. You can get certified here:

Are there any of these projects you might want to join just for fun?
