When I enter a person's name, a list pops up of possible matches. The list is often incomplete as I know there are other names in the database, even a known match, but it is not on the list shown. Is there a way to expand that list so I can see all possible matches? It would be nice if the ID was shown on the individuals page so I could just put that numer in as the person I want to enter. I could then contact the manager so I could make additions or corrections if needed.
When names are entered with alternate names, such as Jim for James, I cannot find them to match. Again, not being able to find the person's ID, I cannot make the match. In my case, my grandfather, his siblings, and a limited number of ancestors are already in the database, but I've not yet received a response to my request to add them to my watchlist. I've added a couple in that I would like to link, but still waiting.
