Is William Hotchkiss born abt 1748 Rattlinghope, Shropshire, UK any known part of the Hotchkiss family tag 303

Question

I am trying to establish if there is a generational link to the Hotchkiss family with the tag below with my William Hotckiss born abt 1748 at Rattlinghope, Shropshire, UK, who married Ann Perkin born about 1763. Allen Hotchkiss family resided near Wem, Shropshire which is aboyut 30 miles from Rattlinghope. Can anybody shed any light on this issue please?

I haven't gone that far forward - my ananlysis finishes around 1650. You would need to check parish registers and wills. Wem's register is online if that helps.
