Sending Invitations and My Watchlist

Question

I noticed this with one person I invited to join WikiTree and just went to my watchlist and see I have three like this.

All three are shown as Active.  I even received a thank you from one.  But I'm still shown as the profile manager for all three.  Normally, when someone accepts an invitation, they become profile manager of their own profile.  Then I can just delete myself from their Trusted List.  But since I'm still the profile manager for those three, I can't.

Can anyone explain what is going on with those three?

They are: Blaser-55, Hennessee-3, and McDonald-2229

Hi Fred,

I'll take care of these for you. If you see any in the future, you can easily make them the manager by going to the Trusted List page (Privacy tab) and clicking "Add as Manager" next to their name. Then you can remove yourself.

As to why these happened ... not sure yet. Tami pointed out a few too. With your examples maybe I'll be able to isolate the common thread.

I believe they all had 0 edits.  Could that have something to do with it?

Hi Fred. I don't think that's it. The manager change happens (or should happen) when they follow the invitation. Creating the password activates their account and makes them the manager of their own profile (or should!).
