Privacy improvement

I started a profile for Bruce-3709 and she was accidentally given a DOB of 0163 rather than 1630. Privacy went red notwithstanding she was >200 years old. I fixed the DOB but could not fix the privacy without help from a terrific leader. Who advised me the program sometimes requires a date for death or location.

Is this something that might be fixed please?

Helen Bruce:
FYI I changed the source to a link to the peerage.com and the profile I think you used as the proof for the facts you added...

I also copied the source mentioned on the profile and added a comment that I havnt checked the source

Thank you. I have further improved the source by changing it to thepeerage.com.

Is this relevant as an answer to my question?

Re relevant or not....It was a comment not an answer ;-)

I think its important that we have good sourcing on profiles just a text peerage.com makes no sense for me....and what happens when this website dies.... and also a comment if we have checked the original source or not is always important to avoid copy paste of errors.........

The latest Pre-1500 Certification is as I understand it a consequence that to many profiles has poor sources...

All set. It was the death location status indicator -- set as "still living." Our privacy controls are conservative so these indicators will override what's inferred from the birth dates. As you note, there can be typos in dates.
