There is no better place to gather all your information into one area for comparison and analysis than a One Name Study! By themselves, Y-chromosome DNA (yDNA) short tandem repeat (STR) markers from a Y-DNA test do not have any particular meaning unless you can create a Y-DNA signature and compare it to others. You are the expert when it comes to researching your own family name. In order to share your knowledge with others, help them find you. Start a One Name Study today!
Our Project Members
See the badge report for a full list of members.
Project members are active researchers who are pooling their resources to establish one family connection. Their research may be limited to one family group where alternative spellings are a problem, they may be researching a specific line of ancestors or collecting all references to a name and its variants to prove connections and theories about relationships. Traditional research, as well as DNA research techniques may be employed in order to prove relationships.
