Removal of Parents

+5 votes
This final profile is the result of numerous merges, one left to go.

I can't find any source for the parents listed here, and no one seems to be able to provide a source to confirm them.

I believe they should be removed at this point.  Any thoughts!

Thanks, Chris .

That's a very sad tale: lose your husband, pay an enormous amount of money for passage to New England to be with your son, and then die on the boat, in the harbor.
No objection to removal. But please annotate the profiles with information about the profiles that are being disconnected: The parents are [[Gosling-6]] and [[Ward-10212]] and the child is [[Gosling-1]].
That would be standard practice in PGM, to make the notes on the parents and or other disputes, I would think (or at least hope!).
She should be PPP'ed so parents are not added again so easily.

Thanks Jillaine.  I just finished her ?final LOL! merge this am and cleaned her up again.   You are right, she shouid be PPP now.  Just didn't get that request out yet.  It was so much easier when we could just do that!

I noticed that her husband has a middle name, highly unusual for that time. I looked at the Bent book and he has no middle name in it.

His profile is the result of 7-10 merges, so it's difficult to say where that might have come from! - and probably in genealogy fiction.
Middle name -- Dennis??? Really-- removed.
Oh, Dennis.  That is a ha ha ha for that time period, I would think.

Does she need the nickname?  They were all called Goody (Goodwife).  It only meant the same as Mrs does now (Mistress being reserved for the better-off).
