Mary Hattie Clarissa Albright m Robert Wellwood in 1882 in Westbourne, Manitoba, Canada - no records remain due to a church fire tho I am thinking of looking in old newspapers, should there be some.

How do I change her son who is entered as her husband to her husband??  Both share the same name.

Complicated.  First step, go to Albright-511, remove Wellwood-2 as spouse and add Wellwood-10 as spouse.  Then the rest will be clearer.

Step 2.  Robert Wellwood-10 will then have 2 wives.  Merge them.
Step 3.  The couple will have 2 sons, Robert Henry Harold Allbright and Robert Henry Harold Wellwood.  Merge them, making sure you keep Wellwood as the surname and lose Allbright.
Really like your answer but unsure as to how to remove the first one/  Do I click on it & then what do I do??  Sorry am a computer jinx.
Hi Lauraine,

Good to see you taking on these tasks.  You have been getting better so just keep at it.

In the Edit tab of Albright-511, on the right side of the page look for Spouse. Then click on Add/Remove spouse.

On the page that opens at the bottom, go to II. Remove Spouse, be sure to click the bubble next to Robert then click the Big green bar that says Remove as Spouse of Hattie.

Having done that rejoice that you have added to your skills.

You will find a source for their wedding on the Manitoba Vital Statistics site:

Whoops. Looks like that link won't work. Here's the main page. You'll have to fill in the names yourself, but they are there!

I missed a bit.  The two Hatties have different parents.  Albright-682 now needs the parents removed, as they're actually her grandparents.
Sorry, but this is the correct parents for this Hattie.  There are several Hattie's in the family, so please send me the one you think is a duplicate as it may be one of my G. Grandfathers brothers child.   This family has been difficult to do as so many George Nelson Albrights, etc. plus a few others that had the same name repeated again & again.  Am happy to consider anything you may think is a duplicate, but must see it first to tell if it is or if it one of my GGUncle's children.

Thank you for you interest.
Thank you Linda - know I looked for this previously & it was not entered but did find it entered now.  It was a late registration; being registered the following year so that may explain it missing when first viewed.

Thank you so much for your interest.

The parents on Albright-682 are Valentine and Agnes.  But Valentine was dead before Mary Hattie was born.  He was her grandfather.

Thank you so much for pointing this problem out to me.  "Think" it is now fixed but a bit uncertain.  If you see any more mistakes please let me know.

Appreciate your help very much.
Looking good now
Thank you.
