Where is unmerged match for Heisey-8 and Heisey-14?

Where can I locate an unmerged match (see below) ... or does it not exist?

I created an unmerged match for Heisey-14 "Mrs Dockery" and Heisey-8 "Emma (Heisey) Dockery" yesterday, to provide info to discuss with the profile manager with whom I am working (via email) on that family.

Though the unmerged match creation is listed in the Changes Tab for both profiles, it doesn't appear in the Unmerged Matches for either profile, and doesn't appear in the wikitree list of unmerged matches.

I've spoken with the profile manager, and the merge should be made, but I want to make sure there's no unmatched merges unmerged matches left dangling somewhere.

Bruce, I don't have any knowledge on which to base an answer, but just throwing my guess into the ring here.  I hope someone figures out the real answer!

The only thing I can think of is that after you created the unmerged match, someone (any member has the ability to do this) came along and rejected it and then removed the rejected match so that it doesn't show there either.  If this is what happened, though, I can't understand why someone would have done this without contacting the profile managers and you or at the very least, leaving a comment on the profiles about why they removed the match.  It just doesn't make any sense at all.
Thanks, Gaile. I appreciate your response. Your scenario may be a possibility, but, as you mention, why?? And it was only a few hours between the creation of the (unmerged) match, and noticing it's non-existence, Strange.

Just thinking there may be a glitch in the software [shrug], and some record is floating about in the Wilds of Wikitree Land. ;-)

Don't know where your unmerged match went.  But by comparing both profiles I would not think it is an unmerged match.

They don't have the same parents and siblings.. Heisey-14 has no source and Heisey-8 has some sources.

Discussions about them could be directly HERE on G2G.

As mentioned, discussions have determined that they should be the same person. I agree that discussions could be on G2G, but, in this case, direct communication between the interested parties quickly revealed a confusion of "daughter" with "granddaughter."

This is one reason why sources are so important !
I'm responsible, I entered both profiles based upon the obituaries of two other folks, These were mentioned as either surviving or attending, and we've determined that rather than being cousins, they were one person. My documentation was faulty.
