Some detail would help. DoB/death? Where lived?
Stephen  Batchelor was bourn in 1723 in Norfolk, Independent citys, Virginia USA, marriage  to Mary Manning, died in. Deep Creek, Nash county North Carolina USA.  I am looking for his grave site.

Maybe you could try the Find A Grave Index website to see if your ancestor, Steven Batchelor is listed in Nash County, NC.  If not, you could ask someone at the Find A Grave tio find it for you.  All they ask for is financial contribution.  Hoping this helps.

Nothing on your Stephen, but I found a Daughters of the American Revolution record for his son Samuel Batchelor of Nash County, North Carolina.  http://services.dar.org/public/dar_research/search_adb/?action=full&p_id=A203947

I added the DAR link and insignia to Samuel Batchelor-147.  Sometimes if you look at the actual DAR record (at the DAR library in Washington, DC), you can see a lot of additional research on the family file.
