William Randall of Newbury Berkshire England

Question

John Randall born 1820 married Mary Ann Hall in 1854.  His father William Randall of Newbury Berkshire England, silversmith in Cheap St.  William died 25 March 1825 and buried in St Nicholas Newbury England.  Would like to find out about William and his family and ancestors.

What county and city was John Randall born in? Do you have a birth year for William Randall and would you have the name of his spouse? What year was William married and in what county and city?

Tried looking him up at familysearch.org , and a few more specifics on location and time frame could help pinpoint some answers to your interest.

Thank you for your reply.  I  have a familysearch account and tree with John and William on it.  I think his wife was Elizabeth. and his shop was opposite the hotel Jack of something.  William died when John was about 5 years old so there are other siblings.  I have traced the Australian part of the Randall tree. I also think there was religious connections.

William Randall was a silversmith and clockmaker and John was a shoemaker.  I do wonder if William's father was also William and a clockmaker too.  I cannot prove it though

My wife, Elizabeth Randall Beverley (n. Errey), is a descendant of John Randall and Mary Ann Hall. We live in Blackwood, South Australia. We are beginning our research regarding the Randalls and the Halls.

I also live in the Blackwood area.  John and Mary Ann Randall are direct ancestors of mine.  Alexander William Randall, Alfred George Randall,Nancy Maud Randall (Buckerfield), Margaret Julia Buckerfield (Burdon).  I have more info if you need it

Elizabeth's father was Fredrick Ellis Errey and his mother was Alice Eva (n. Moody). Her mother was Mary Priscilla Eva (n. Randall), with parents John Randall and Mary Ann (n.Hall). I Just received John and May Ann's marriage certificate.
