In the 1901 census I find Wm Hoey 43, wife Mary Jane 45, William, 17,Lizzie 15, Samuel 14, Daniel, 12, and John 7. They were called Hoey, Howie. They started off in Antrim or Belfast Ireland and ended up in Motherwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland. I know Daniel went to Guelph Canada and had a family there. I know Samuel married Jeanie Sneddon Mitchell, had a son William b 1911who went to Canada and Samuel was killed in WW1 in France. But whatever happened to William b Aug 1884, Lizzie b abt 1886, and John b about 1894. They seem to have vanished.?? Mary Jane McNeill and William Hoey/Howie were m in Belfast on July 7, 1882 and Samuel and Jeanie were m Oct 28, 1910 and she died in Childbirth in 1911. Can anyone help me?  Please.

I have a few Williams in my Howie line but they're all Edinburgh/Midlothian Men for a long time, so not much help to you I'm afraid.  Best of luck.
