William Thomas Garner born about 1847 in Tennessee. Maybe near Kingston or Kingsport, or Kingston Springs, TN. Had brothers and sisters. Was supposedly taken into the Civil War by force. Do not know which side. Went AWOL at least once. Settled in Indiana near Corydon. Found only one time on the 1870 census. Had first 3 sons, John, Thomas, and Calvin. Was married to Angeline Bryant in Leavenworth Indiana. Other sons and daughters- Hager, Charles, Richard, Pearl (son), Lovitta Jane, Sarah, Mont Zella. Died and is buried in Heidleberg Cemetery in Corydon, IN. approx. 1891.
