Upper right corner, drop down menus > Add > New Person.

Just remember to check for duplicates, especially if you're starting back in time somewhere.

Wikitree is ONE big World Wide Tree with one profile per person. As we are all connected by our ancestors, you will have a very small tree until one of your cousin start his own tree and connects to the big Wikitree :)

Do you want to make an unconnected tree? WikiTree is one big tree, there are no individual trees here. FamilySearch Family Tree has the same premise.

Ancestry Member Trees are individual trees. i.e. everyone who puts a tree on Ancestry has their own tree, either public or private.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think the question was "is it possible to make an unconnected tree"...not "I want to make an unconnected tree". As part of the cemeterist project I make lots of unconnected profiles...just waiting to be connected! There are many trees here that have not yet connected. Connection is not a prerequisite of being part of WikiTree.
Yes, that's so. I took it to mean the OP wanted to make one and wasn't sure how. I've got a lot of unconnected myself - well the system thinks they're unconnected because they have to go all the way up my line, over to my husband's line and then back down his line until we connect.
